MG Motor has launched the Windsor EV for the Indian consumers. The vehicle comes as the first product of the brand since they announced a partnership with JSW in India.
The cabin of the EV follows a minimalist pattern with black colour and copper highlights. The highlight of the cabin is a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.8-inch instrument cluster.
The feature list of the electric vehicle includes wireless charging, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, a 9-speaker infinity sound system.
The Windsor EV comes with 38 kWh LFP battery prismatic cells which offer a range of 331 km. This battery transfers power to an axle-mounted motor which produces 136 hp of power and 200 Nm of torque. This battery can be charged from 0-80 percent in 55 mins using a 45 kW charger.
The MG Windsor EV has been launched in India priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The price is exclusive of the cost of the battery and the battery will be available on a rental basis.
